The VMIVME-7452 is a 6U single slot VME module thatprovides hard disk and floppy disk storage options for GE FanucEmbedded Systems’ line of embedded VME processors. The modulemay be configured with either drive alone, or both. A Flash memorydrive is available as an option.The VMIVME-7452 is a passive VME board, making connection to the P2user defined pins, power and ground only. The VMIVME-7452 establishes connection to the singleboard computer (SBC) IDE interface through the VME P2 user-definedpins. The type of SBC module and physical arrangement of the VMEchassis determines the optional cable required. For typical applicationwith a single slot SBC, the VMIVME-7452 is physically placed adjacentto the SBC. Connection between the boards is accomplished with theVMXC-3 cable assembly.
