DSQC 316 Computer board The robot controller unit is built around a core of three different computersystems:• Main computer Board• Axis Computer Board• I/O Computer BoardThe computers are the data processing centre of the robot. They possess all the functions required to create, execute and store a robot program. They also contain functions for coordinating and regulating the axis movements. On top of these, it is possible to add up to five Optional Boards for additional functionality.
