The AGP3000H-ADPCOM-01 is part of the GP3000 HMI series of operator interfaces. This series of workhorse HMIs offer a number of advantages to older HMI units, including the capability to connect directly to I/O and the ability to bypass the need for a separate programmable logic controller unit. It also offers a number of different handheld touch screen versions. These are the GP3000 HMIs that typically require the use of the optional AGP3000H-ADPCOM-01 conversion adapter. This adapter is used to convert outputs to RS-232C/422/485 serial interface (DSUB) or to Ethernet (RJ45) outputs. This small conversion adapter connects via cable into a GP3000H display. It then connects to external devices via a serial cable or an Ethernet cable, depending on the device’s needs.
