AC Drive Circuit BoardThe MFA 4p is CE, CSA and FM approved in its normally supplied NEMA 4X plastic enclosure. However, mounting the MFA 4p circuit board in another enclosure, or electrical panel, voids these safety approvals. It is common practice to have all custom mounting of high voltage circuit boards inspected and approved by the local electrical inspector. High voltage, as defined by safety standards, is greater than 30 Vrms or 60 Vdc.It is your responsibility to ensure that any custom mounting of the MFA 4p circuit board meets the requirements of the applicable local electrical code, and that it is inspected and approved by the local electrical inspector. Also, the temperature within the special enclosure must remain within the range of –20 o C to 50 o C (–4 o F to 122 o F).Alternatively, the MFA 4p, complete in its NEMA 4X enclosure, can be mounted in another enclosure or electrical panel without requiring electrical inspection, providing that the requirements of the local electrical code are met and the ambient temperature of the air within the larger enclosure is within the MFA 4p environmental temperature rating of –20 o C to 50 o C (–4 o F to 122 o F).
