The Adept MV controller is intended for use as a component sub-assembly of a completeindustrial automation system. The Adept MV controller sub-assembly must be installedinside a suitable enclosure. Installation and usage must comply with all safety instructionsand warnings in this manual. Installation and usage must also comply with all applicablelocal or national statutory requirements and safety standards. The Adept MV controllersub-assembly is not intended for use in any of the following situations:• In hazardous (explosive) atmospheres• In mobile, portable, marine, or aircraft systems• In life-support systems• In residential installations• In situations where the Adept MV controller sub-assembly may come into contactwith liquids.• In situations where the Adept MV controller sub-assembly will be subject toextremes of heat or humidity.
