The main line, field- and motor starter switches arecontrolled (switched on/off) via signals from the con-vertor control eq. The start/stop sequence is integra-ted in the software control program and the status isconstantly monitored. Upon a “START” order circuitsare connected in the following sequence:. Cooling fans- Field supply_- Main line switch- Release ( signal START1=1)Each thyristor module contains 2 thyristors.●Disconnect all cables from the module which is tobe replaced. Note the markings of all conductors toavoid confusion when these are replaced.●Unscrew the thyristor module itself.●Check towards the apparatus list that the new mo-dule is of the correct type before installing it.
