The power amplifier has five voltageinputs (one inverting) and a currentinput for 0-20 mA. Adjustments for setzero point or deadband compensationand for gain allow the amplifier to beeasily tuned to the proportional controlvalve.The ramp function generator canbe switched on and off using the “rampenable” control.
Monitor points on the front panel allowmeasurement of the conditioned
command signal, and either of spoolposition LVDT signal or (for valveswithout LVDT) of solenoid current.(Conditioned command signal” is theinput signal modified according tosettings of set zero point or deadbandcompensation, gain and ramp functions.)
