PLC 1764-24AWA Controller Base Unit

The 1764-24AWA allows advanced communications connectivity via its Channel 0 port. The 1764-24AWA must be used with compatible processor modules, which are the 1764-LRP or the 1764-LSP. This unit can also be used with several different memory modules and real-time clocks such as the 1764-MM1, 1764-MM2, and the 1764-RTC. The 1761-CBL-PM02 cable can be used for programming this MicroLogix 1500 module. Input and output LEDs indicate the status of the I/O channels on this MicrolLogix Module. The Bulletin 1764-24AWA has Class I Division 2 Hazardous Location, CE, C-Tick, c-UL, and UL product standards approval. It should be mounted horizontally with an allowance of 50 millimeters (2 inches) on all sides for adequate ventilation.The 1764-24AWA is a MicroLogix 1500 base unit manufactured by Allen-Bradley. This base unit provides a modular connection to any MicroLogix 1500 processors and features an integrated Twelve (12) 120VAC discrete inputs and Twelve (12) Relay outputs. This controller and compatible modules are DIN Rail mounted and modular type that takes up minimum panel space during installation.The 1764-24AWA is primarily designed for small to medium automation requirements. It is supports expansion with the use of 1769 Compact I/O modules locally or via an expansion bank. Up to Eight (8) local I/O modules may be installed in the local chassis while up to Sixteen (16) Compact I/O modules may be installed in the expansion I/O bank.
