The MPL-B330P-SJ74AA is an Servo motor that is part of the Low inertia MPL series. This servo motor is a 400 V class Brushless AC synchronous motor. It has 100 mm frame with magnet stack length of 76.2 mm or 3.0 inches and 5000 rpm rated speed. It uses a right-angle Circular (SpeedTec) DIN connector, 180degrees rotatable with integral 1024 sin / cos single-turn absolute encoder. It comes with a shaft key, without a shaft seal and an integral 24 VDC holding brake.The MPL-B330P-SJ74AA is drive by a single servo drive. Being part of the Kinetix system, it may be coupled to a variety of servo drives which are Kinetix 5500, Kinetix 5700, Kinetix 6200/6500, Kinetix 6000, Kinetix 300/350, Kinetix 2000, and Kinetix 7000. For feedback of the motor’s rotation in relation to the current position, the MPL-B330P-SJ74AA is provided with a 1024 sin/cos single turn high resolution absolute encoder. This encoder supports Hiperface (Stegmann) protocol, eliminating traditional communication between the drive and the motor instead, exchanges data via high-speed digital communication. Additionally, with the Smart Motor Technology, this motor can be identified over the network as it is able to retain this information via the motor’s on-board memory.
