Description:GE IC754VSL06CTD-RN Operator interface
The IC754VSL06CTD is an operator interface manufactured by GE (General Electric). It is built as a part of QuickPanel+ series. It is an all-in-one microcomputer based 7-inch widescreen TFT color touch screen terminal. The screen is engineered with 800 x 480 pixels WVGA resolution and it has LED backlit display. It is projected capacitive type of touchscreen. The IC754VSL06CTD HMI (Human-Machine Interface) is used as an interface to industrial control systems. It is very flexible with advanced communication options. The microprocessor that runs the whole system on the panel is ARM 1GHz Cortex A8 – Freescale i.MX535. The memory capacity of this small-sized panel is 512MB of RAM memory, 512 KB of SRAM memory (with battery backup), and 256MB of ROM memory. The GE IC754VSL06CTD terminal has Microsoft Windows 7 Embedded Compact (32-bit) operating system installed. To program the application to be used on the panel, the user will have to obtain Proficy View Machine Edition software (part of Proficy Machine Edition). To make a connection for the program download, use an RS232/RS485 communication port and an HMI-CAB communication cable. The user may also access the panel for programming purposes over a flash card port (SD card). Copy the program onto the SD card, then place the card into the SD card slot and reboot the device. The IC754CBL06CTD consumes maximally 15 Watts when it is connected to a 24 Volt DC power supply. The input voltage is acceptable in 24V DC ±20% range. Positioned next to the input terminals, there are USB, Ethernet, and RS-232 connectors. The terminal is housed in an IP65 rated enclosure and its dimensions are 7.56 × 5.39 × 1.42 inches (192 × 137 × 36 millimeters). The item is shipped with weight approximated at 0.800 kilograms (1.76 pounds). This HMI should be used at 0 to 50 degree Celsius temperatures
