1746-IH16 | Current Sinking DC Input Module

The 1746-IH16 SLC 500 General Purpose 125V DC Input Module, is a current sinking digital input module by which comes with a Removable Terminal Block and can be installed on any free 1746 I/O chassis slot. It is an input module with 16 current sinking 125V DC inputs and 16 points per common. It operational voltage ranges between 90 and 146V DC with various numbers of points powered ON simultaneously at various corresponding voltages. Six inputs points are powered ON simultaneously at 146V DC, with 12 points at 146V DC, with 14 points at 132V DC, and with 16 points at 125V DC. It draws a backplane current of 0.085A at 5.0V DC and the input signal is delayed at 9ms for both the OFF and ON state. The 1746-IH16 has a maximum OFF state drop voltage of 20V DC and a current leakage of 0.8mA in its OFF state. It nominal input current per point is 2.15mA at 125V DC and 2.25mA at 132V DC and the module has an overall heat dissipation of 5.17W. It is stored at a temperature ranging between -40 and 85 °C (-40 and 185 °F) and it operates well in a temperature range of 0-60 °C (32-140 °F) at 5-95% non-condensing humidity condition. The 1746-IH16 has an operational shock rating of 30G with an operational vibration of 2.5G at 57-200 Hertz and a NEMA standard ICS 2-230-rated Noise immunity. It offers circuit isolation between the inputs and control logic and is C-UL and CSA-certified.
