1746-BAS-T | SLC BASIC Module

The 1746-BAS-T is a SLC 500 SLC BASIC Module with higher speed capability. This SLC BASIC Module has RS-232/423, -422, -485, and DH-485 Communication Ports for connection to modems, printers, Human Machine Interface and other devices. It also has a 24KB battery backed-up RAM and for data and user program storage.The 1746-BAS-T Basic Communication Module is a specialty module that is used within the SLC 500 product family. This module occupies single slot of any 1746 chassis and may be used in modular or fixed style hardware of SLC 500.This module is almost identical to the 1746-BAS module. The major difference of this module is that this module is the higher speed version of the 1746-BAS. This module enables data collection and integration capability of a SLC 500 controller. Allowing the system to integrate and collect data in the plant floor for communicating with Human Machine Interface (HMI) devices, modems, printers and other data collection devices.
