The 1746-A13 is an SLC500 chassis. It has Thirteen (13) slots, providing backplane connections and housing to SLC500 Programmable Logic Controller (PLC) modules. This chassis provides backplane connections and housing to Central Processing Unit (CPU), I/O, Communication and specialty modules as well as the system power supply.The 1746-A13 is provided with Eight (8) mounting tabs, used for direct panel mounting of the chassis to the enclosure’s subpanel. When mounting the module to the subpanel, appropriate screws are M4 or M5 (#10 or #12) phillips screw. Recommended mounting clearance are minimum of 15.3 cm (6.0 in) for top clearance and minimum of >10.2 cm (4.0 in) side clearance. When used with a rack extender cable such as 1746-C7, minimum spacing is 7.7 to 10.2 cm (3.0 to 4.0 in).
