It belongs to the microprocessor and solid-state component of SMC-Flex family of motor management devices which may also be .called as a soft starter.An adequate wiring must be applied to this device. Proper wiring ang torque application reduces overheating to the soft starter’s terminals. As this is a device rated for 361 Ampere Current output, the recommended Lug kit for use is 199-LG1 with wire strip length of 18-25 mm. The appropriate conductor size range is 25 to 240 sq. mm or #6 to 250 MCM. For line side, a maximum no. of Two (2) Lugs per pole. Similarly, the Load side requires the same. When tightening, applied Torque shall for wire-Lug shall be 42 Nm or 275 lb/in. For Lug-Busbar termination, tightness shall be 28 Nm or 250 lb/in.
