1734-IB8 | POINT I/O 8 Point Digital Input Module

The 1734-IB8 is an Eight (8) channel discrete input module that is part of the 1734 Point I/O product family. POINT I/O modules, including the 1734-IB8 are compact automation components that are installed with POINT I/O communication adapters for implementing distributed I/O architecture.
The 1734-IB8’s input channels support sink wiring configuration and operate at 24VDC nominal voltage with ON-state voltage range of 10VDC-28.8VDC and On-state current range of 2mA-5mA. This input module has a fixed hardware input filter of 0.5 ms plus user configurable filter of 0ms – 63 ms. This module requires use of a terminal base such as 1734-TB or 1734-TBS wiring assembly. It is also provided with status LED indicators that provided feedback regarding the operational status of each of the module’s channels. It is specifically installed with Eight (8) status LED indicators, One (1) for every input channel. Additionally, it has a One (1) network status indicator. When installing to the appropriate terminal base, the required key switch alignment is position 1.
The 1734-IB8 is installed with POINT I/O communication adapters. If used with RSLogix version 11 or higher, including Studio 5000 Logix designer, it is compatible for use with ControlNet and Ethernet adapters. Series C 1734-IB8 module are also made compatible with DeviceNet and ProfiBus communication adapters.
