For operation in ambients above40 °C up to 50 °C (104 °F up to 122 °F), the PowerFlex SCR Bus Supplyoutput Amps must be derated by 1.2% per 1 °C for 400A unit, and by 1.0%per 1 °C for 600A and 1000A units.Ensure that proper cooling is provided to the SCR Bus Supply to maintainthe 40 °C rated specification. If the ambient temperature is exceeded, applythe proper derate factors. Add exhaust fans to the front or top of theenclosure bay and provide a filtered opening at the bottom of the cabinetbay.
