DescriptionThe 1701/15 FieldMonitrTM Proximitor@ Input Monitor is a 2-channel devicethat accepts signals from proximity probes via its associated transducer 10or intemal Proximitor@ module, conditions these signals into the appropriatemeasurement units, compares them to user-programmable alarm setpoints,and generates appropriate alam signals for communication to the hostcontrol system. It can also provide current values of its measuredparameters to the control system for indication and trending. Embedded slf-tests permit the monitor to assess its own integrity, and that of its connectedtransducers. A NOT OK condition can be detected and annunciated whenproblems with the monitor or its connected transducers exist.The monitor can be programmed to provide any of the fllowingmeasurements:Shaft relatve radial vibrationShaft radial positin (see note)Shaft axial position (i.e.. thrust positin)
