UCN EXTENDER FIBER OPTIC SIGNAL 24VDCThe ControlNet Repeater Adapter and ControlNet Fiber Module quickly connect to form a Repeater/Fiber hub that lets you extend the length of a coax segment through fiber optic links – See Figure 1. This is similar to using a coax repeater, but fiber optic cable provides a more secure transmission over a greater distance.The ControlNet Repeater Adapter (or the fiber optic repeater) connects to a coax trunk cable using a standard tap and drop cable. Each Repeater Adapter supports up to four Fiber Modules. Each Fiber Module has a pair of Receive and Transmit ports for fiber optic cable connections.
