The PROFIBUS ILX69-PBM master module is designed for use with the CompactLogix platform that allows the Programmable Logic Controller (PLC) to regulate the exchange of data on a PROFIBUS network. The ILX69-PBM, which is used to handle the cyclic data/information exchange that takes place between connected PROFIBUS slave units. Through the backplane technology, the ILX69-PBM is able to exchange data with a CompactLogix controller. It is also important to note that the processed image of the controller and the ILX69-PBM module is automatically updated.
