The MVI69-DFCM is a DF1 Interface module from ’s encompass partner company, Prosoft Technology. This module is a single slot module with two (2) RS232 / RS422 / RS485 ports supporting DF1 protocol and One (1) RJ45 configuration port. This module supports DF1 master and slave protocols in full and half-duplex modes.The MVI69-DFCM is a CompactLogix compatible module from Prosoft Technology. This module is specifically a DF1 communication module that comes with Two (2) application ports labeled as P1 and P2 that are configurable for RS232 / RS422 / RS485 electrical standard operable as DF1 Master or Slave ports in a full-duplex or half-duplex configuration. These ports enable a CompactLogix or MicroLogix 1500 controller to simultaneously communicate with partner devices such as Human Machine Interface (HMI), Supervisory Control and Data Acquisition (SCADA) systems, PLCs, gateways, protocol converters, and other similar devices. The MVI69-DFCM supports CRD and BCC error checking, full hardware shaking that is designed for radio, modem, and multi-drop communication, user-configurable memory usage, and support for storage and transfer of up to 4000 registers to and from the host processor module. It also supports read and write commands of up to 125 Words. This module is also capable of floating-point data movement. The MVI69-DFCM is specifically compatible with L20/L23/L30/L31/L32/L35, L43, and L45 with L43 and L45 supported with RSLogix 5000 v16.03 or later. This module is also compatible with MicroLogix 1500 LRP. It has a backplane current draw of 800 mA max@ 5 VDC with a power supply distance rating of 2 however, when used with CompactLogix L43 and L45, this module must be installed on the first 2 slots of the 1769 bus. The MVI69-DFCM has an operating temperature of 0 to 60°C (32 to 140°F); storage temperature of -40 to 85°C (-40 to 185°F) and a relative humidity requirement of 5% to 95% (non-condensing).
